Spring is finally coming, and summer is also just around the corner. We are definitely ready and waiting for summer with our freshly baked apricot and freesia scented product range. This special release series is inspired by the Pantone 2024 color Peach Fuzz. The gentle sweet blend of apricot and peach, along with delicate freesia, is enveloped in rose, apple, blackcurrant, and almond scent notes. There are five products in the summery fruity and playful scent family:
scented candle, home fragrance diffuser, body lotion, shower gel, and hair & body mist.

Make your home smell like summer!

The delicate pink apricot-freesia scented candle is actually already familiar to our friends and loyal customers. It seems we were ahead of time in choosing this scent. Now the same aroma can be enjoyed in more products.
The apricot and freesia diffuser brings the summer feeling home. You may notice that the home fragrance bottle differs from our usual diffuser bottles. Since it's a special release available for a limited time, the differentiation is intentional. The elongated bottle holds 100 ml of fragrance liquid, and the scent is diffused by slender white fiber sticks.

New body products!

For the first time, we are introducing two completely new products as part of the special release collection. The first one is a shower gel - a sulfate-free shower gel with a mild apricot and freesia scent enriched with glycerin, betaine, and water-soluble olive oil that gently cleans the skin, leaving it soft and moisturized.
We are so excited about this scent that we decided to also put it in a completely new product, which is the hair and body mist. This lightweight scented product is perfect for summer as a substitute to perfume - you spray it on your skin and hair in the desired amount and enjoy compliments. It is particularly suitable for refreshing and scenting the skin on hot summer days. Body mists are currently very trendy, and it is clear that this summer it is a must-have product in every girl and woman's beauty arsenal.
And of course we had to put the same scent also into a body lotion. The body lotion enriched with shea butter, coconut oil, sunflower oil, and amino acids moisturizes and softens the skin and gives it a gently glowing golden shimmer. The shimmer looks particularly beautiful on sun-kissed skin in summer but adds modest glamour to paler skin too.

Pantone Color of the Year Peach Fuzz
The creation process of new range is always exciting, and you never know where the idea will start branching out. When creating the apricot-freesia series, we were inspired by the Pantone Color of the Year, which is PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz - it is a velvety peach tone where feminine pink is balanced by warm orange.
This gentle peach tone was chosen by Pantone as the color of the year for 2024, as Pantone predicts that in politically turbulent times, consumers are drawn to colors that evoke peace and comfort - exactly what peach fuzz does.

Special releases are here to stay

The apricot-freesia series is the first of our summer special releases in JOIK's selection, but it certainly won't be the last. There are so many exciting scents, colors, and products to play with. While you can start enjoying apricot and freesia products, we are already thinking about the future - testing products, researching trends, and sniffing through dozens of aromas, figuring out which scent would fit which product. There's definitely lots to look forward to.
