The Fig & Green Leaves scented candle was created to celebrate JOIK’s 20th anniversary and is part of the unique Parfumerie collection.
This fragrance is like a sunlit stroll through lush greenery, carrying freshness, harmony, and a timelessly elegant mood. The scent opens with the sparkling greenness of fig leaves and juicy grapefruit, bringing forth a radiant brightness. At its heart, ripe and creamy fig intertwines with delicate white rose and airy jasmine, creating a harmonious and refined accord. The lingering base reveals the captivating notes of cedarwood, amber, and violet leaves, adding warmth and elegance to the fragrance.

We made this candle from rapeseed wax. Benefits of rapeseed wax:
- We use Scandinavian rapeseed wax which ensures smaller ecological footprint thanks to shorter transport route.
- Rapeseed does not cause monoculture and doesn’t harm environment. In fact, it’s used for crop rotation and is normally sown before cereals.
- Our rapeseed wax is GMO-free. Growing genetically modified organisms is banned in Europe.
- Rapeseed wax is biodegradable and burns longer and cleaner than paraffin.
- Rapeseed wax is vegan friendly.

Please follow these simple but extremely important candle burning rules to ensure a pleasant and safe experience:
- Burn the candle continuously until the entire surface is melted. This ensures that the candle burns evenly.
- ALWAYS cut the wick to 0.5 cm before lighting the candle. This ensures clean and soot-free combustion. A long wick or a wick with combustion residues (so-called mushroom) causes an excessively large flame, which becomes unstable and can emit smoke and soot. Burning a candle with a too long wick and/or a large flame is dangerous! If the flame is too big, extinguish the candle, cut the wick shorter, and then you can relight the candle if you wish.
- Blowing out a candle causes smoke. Instead of blowing, for example, press the wick into the melted wax with the tip of a knife and lift it up again. Make sure that the wick stays in the center of the candle and that there are no pieces of burnt wick in the wax.
- Do not burn the candle continuously for more than 3 hours.
- Always burn the candle on a heat-resistant base and keep it away from objects that can catch fire. Stop burning the candle when there is less than 1 cm of wax left at the bottom of the glass.
- Be careful when moving the burning candle – the glass may be hot.
- Keep the burning candle away from children and animals.
- Avoid drafts near the candle.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended!
- If the candle glass has become sooty due to a too long wick, you can easily clean the glass with household paper.
